The investment brings total funding raised to $8.5 million since the company was founded in 2018, and will help Digbi deepen its lead in the evidence-based, clinically proven science of combining genetics, the gut microbiome and clinical risk markers to deliver precision care for chronic inflammatory illnesses.
Outcomes behind the round
Across data from more than 1,000 members who accessed the program through their insurance payer, 70 percent experienced reduced symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and chronic pain, and 60 percent demonstrated improvement in inflammatory skin conditions.
The funding builds on a year in which Digbi saw 200 percent growth in new members, employer customers, executive appointments, and market momentum in digestive health, personalized food as medicine, and managing obesity for COVID risk reduction.
